William Blows was born in Crayford, Kent in 1947. He trained as a psychiatric and general nurse, then took up teaching nurses. He studied for a BSc in Life Sciences and now teaches mental health biology to student nurses at City University, London. He has written three biology books for nurses. He obtained a PhD in dinosaurs from Birkbeck College, University of London in 1996. William collected dinosaurs on the Isle of Wight for many years, finding three Iguanodon and one Polacanthus skeletons.

William writes music as a hobby, specialising in a symphonic output. He has, to date, written six symphonies, a double violin concerto, a song cycle and two orchestral suites.

Click on the following pages (the list shown on the left) which describe William's symphonies and other classical music.

If your sound system is on you will hear, on some pages, part of the symphony recorded from computer playback (Not a real orchestra) using Mozart software.

William also has another website at www.blowsesq.org.uk that gives further details of his publications (books and scientific papers) and dinosaur discoveries.

This website is still under construction. Please return.
